Psychedelic Integration
Use the breath for somatic integration
Service Description
I offer psychedelic integration support for adults who have chosen to engage in psychedelic experiences independently or through other providers and are seeking non-clinical, harm-reduction-focused support before and after those experiences. This service does not involve the provision of psychedelic substances, facilitation of psychedelic sessions, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. My role is to support grounding, emotional regulation, reflection, and integration within a clearly defined and ethical scope of practice. Requirement for Prior Working Relationship Integration support is offered only to individuals I have worked with prior to their psychedelic experience. This preparatory work allows for: Establishing rapport and psychological safety Introducing grounding and self-regulation practices Exploring intentions and expectations Assessing suitability and potential risks Integration support is not offered on a one-off or retrospective basis to individuals with whom no prior preparatory work has taken place. Nature of the Work Sessions may include: Verbal reflection and meaning-making Somatic awareness and body-based grounding practices Carefully paced breathwork, used solely to support regulation and integration, not to induce altered states Support in translating experiences into everyday life in a stabilising and sustainable way All practices are introduced gradually and responsively, with close attention to signs of distress or dysregulation. Suitability and Safeguarding This service is intended for individuals who are: Psychologically stable Able to engage in reflective and self-regulating practices Not currently experiencing acute mental health crisis This service is not suitable for individuals who are: Experiencing acute psychosis, mania, or severe dissociation Diagnosed with psychotic disorders or bipolar I, unless under appropriate specialist clinical care Seeking psychedelic facilitation, substance guidance, or high-intensity cathartic practices Where appropriate, referral to medical, psychological, or specialist mental health services may be recommended. Ethical and Professional Boundaries This work is offered within a harm-reduction and safeguarding-informed framework. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, and clients are supported to engage at their own pace, within their own capacity.
