Terms & Conditions

Breathwork is generally a safe practice but it can have strong effects on the body, emotions and nervous system. Please read the information below before engaging in breathwork with in-person or online sessions with The Unbound Breath.

By taking part in any class, workshop or event I agree that:

  1. I understand that no one at The Unbound Breath is a medical doctor. Any advice or activity presented is not intended to replace a medical consultation and should not replace any guidance offered by a medical doctor.

  2. If I need any assistance, medical or otherwise, at any time during any course or workshop, in person or online, I will notify the facilitator and will take full responsibility and leave the class/workshop/event and seek appropriate care. If I ignore any advice, either medical or from the facilitator, or fail to seek any required medical care I agree and understand that I do so at my own risk.

  3. If I have any pre-existing conditions involving the cardiovascular, respiratory, lymphatic or nervous system, or if I suffer from epilepsy or severe mental health difficulties, I will consult my doctor before any breathwork practices.

  4. If I am pregnant, have asthma, or have any condition that affects my breathing or comfort lying down, I will practice in a seated or slightly elevated position.

  5. If I am pregnant or trying to get pregnant, have asthma, or have any condition that affects my breathing, I will not take part in any of the breath holds in the sessions, instead, continuing to breathe lightly in and out of the nose during these sections.

  6. I will not practice any of the breathwork techniques taught while in a body of water, near a body of water or in any other circumstance where any physical risk is present.

Disclaimer (please read)

  1. I am voluntarily taking part in breathwork classes and I release and hold harmless The Unbound Breath and their facilitators for any and all acts or omissions which may be grounds for legal action, including but not limited to acts or omissions which may constitute ordinary negligence.

  2. In taking part in these sessions I accept full responsibility for my own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

  3. I hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that I have now or may have hereafter against The Unbound Breath and their facilitators.

  4. I have read and fully understand and agree to the above terms of this Liability Waiver Agreement. I recognise that my registration for a class serves as complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law in the United Kingdom.
